We supply biohazard bins that are lined with red bags to all of our clients at no additional cost. You will be responsible for supplying your own sharps and pharmaceutical waste containers. Every Eco Medical client gets access to our online compliance portal through their unique login. Within our online compliance portal, you can view your pickup schedule, service schedule, medical waste manifests, assign trainings to staff, view regulations, and more. On each pickup date, we will take your full containers and replace them with clean and newly lined ones. You will be able to view all of the details of every waste pickup in our portal.

We can pick up daily, weekly, monthly, every other month, quarterly, on-call, and with custom solutions. It depends on what works best for your facility and is compliant with California’s medical waste management laws. Depending on the amount of biohazard waste your facility generates, you may be required to have pickups as often as weekly.

Yes, we require a contract. Contracts help define our waste acceptance policy and outline the services to be delivered to our clients. All of our agreements are price locked & not to exceed the agreed upon rates. They also include a service guarantee where you can cancel without penalty if we do not uphold our end of the agreement.
We service all medical waste generating facilities. Some of our clients include surgery centers, post acute facilities, dental practices, community health centers, hospitals, laboratories, and more!
We use 28, 38, 48, or 96-gallon biohazard containers. Our 38 gallon biohazard bin typically fits between 5-15 sharps containers, depending on the sizing. Regardless of size, containers and their contents should not exceed 50 lbs per OSHA regulations.
